The Purefecta Drinking Water Purifier is tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 and 58 for the reduction of substances specified on the Manufacturer's Performance Data Sheet.

The Purefecta Drinking Water Purifier was tested by UL and found to meet all the requirements of the USEPA's Guide Standard and Protocol for Testing Microbiological Water Purifiers (OPP Task Force Report, 1987) as interpreted by UL specifically for the Purefecta product.
